Simple Ways to Meditate Like a Pro!

Meditation is beneficial to your overall health and well-being, it reduces stress and even reduces blood pressure.  It is also a crucial part of utilizing the Law of Attraction to create the life you want.  Most successful people use meditation on a daily basis.

You may think meditation is some type of practice that can only be achieved by experienced monks or Zen masters, but the truth is that anyone can meditate and it is easy!  During most of our waking life thousands of thoughts go through our mind each day which can make us crazy, overwhelmed and stressed.  Meditation is the process of slowing our brainwaves and allowing our mind to relax so that we can access the divine wisdom within us and receive inspired guidance.  Meditation can be very easy, even for beginners.  While there are many more ways to meditate, here are a few simple ways to do it!

BREATHING –One of the easiest ways to meditate is to simply breathe.  Focus on your breath as you breathe in and out.  Trying breathing in for the count of four, holding for a count of four, breathing out for a count of four, and holding out for a count of four.  Focus on your breath as you complete the breathing and your mind is not able to think of other things.  Do this for a few minutes several times a day and you are meditating!

MUSIC – You can meditate simply by listening to calming music.  Close your eyes and let yourself focus on the music.  Let any other thoughts just drift through your mind and let them go.

WALKING – Going for a walk can be a meditative experience.  Walking helps you bring up and release the things that are bothering you.  Often you will receive insight on the solutions to your challenges during a brisk walk.

SPENDING TIME IN NATURE – Spending time in nature is another way to meditate.  Focus your attention on the random beauty of nature and let go of your thoughts.

GUIDED MEDITATIONS – If you want help with meditation there are plenty of guided meditations available on the internet, and many of them are free.

BINAURAL BEATS MEDITATION – Binaural beats is a form of meditation where the music to your left ear has a different frequency from the music to your right ear.  The combination of the left frequency and the right frequency slow your brainwaves to a meditative state.  You must wear earphones in order to utilize this type of meditation.  This type of meditation can be found for free or for sale to be downloaded from the internet.

DO SOMETHING CREATIVE – Doing something creative that you really enjoy can be meditative.  When your entire focus is on the project you are working on you enter a meditative state.

SHOWER.  Have you ever noticed that you have inspired thoughts and aha moments when you are in the shower?  The water running over your body and your concentration on what you are doing create a relaxing meditative state.

Meditation doesn’t have to be hard or time consuming.  Try some of these forms of meditation and see which one works best for you!!  I would love to hear your comments!
